draggamuffin designs was born out of an affectionate word which I used to describe my young son's appearance following an afternoon of play.  A bit of a "ragamuffin" after some time in the sandbox and big wheel racing around the neighborhood, he thought I called him a dragon-muffin. draggamuffin started out as a toy accessory line back in 1985. This little "creature" was created after 24 years and my desire to always make this funny word into something warm and fuzzy with a bit of whimsy and fantasy. I can't forget my daughter and her love of stuffed toys. She accused them of kicking her out of bed at night--her way of sleeping in Mom and Dad's bed.

what makes a draggamuffin special?

A draggamuffin is a child's canvas for creative playtime;  opening a world of self expression and adventure.  No batteries needed--draggamuffins are powered by children's inventiveness,  imagination, and interaction with other children. draggamuffins are a designer toy children help design!
